Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Campus Services Coordinator for the Housing department. This position is full-time.

The Campus Services Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of student meal plans, Panther Cash, Panther Flight Accounts, and Flex Credit.  Another one of the main responsibilities is to process JVs, generate invoices, and create requisitions or Dining Services.  In collaboration with the Housing Coordinator, the Campus Services Coordinator will assist in managing the front office area of Campus Services. 
   
This employee should feel comfortable with technology and will be using software programs such as Banner, Workday, CS Gold, and HMS.  The position requires an employee to be organized, a team player, and have the ability to prioritize tasks.  The Campus Services Coordinator will report to the Assistant Vice President of Housing and Campus Services but also directly supports the Director of Dining Services.  

This position will require occasional work on the weekends to assist with special campus events.

 

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing the front of Campus Services to include answering telephone calls, responding to email inquiries, and processing IDs.
  • Coordinates account payable functions for Dining Services to include processing journal vouchers generating invoices, and facilitating requisitions for Dining Services. 
  • Process student and employee meal plans including processing meal plan change requests, adding Panther Cash and Flex Credit to accounts, and facilitiating necessary refunds of Panther Cash when employees and students depart the University.  Process JSA accounting and administration.    
  • Billing and account receivable for Dining Services to include both internal and external billing, receiving and depositing payments, journal voucher internal fund transfers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Dining Services.
  • Participate in special campus events and open houses (for example: Discovery Day, campus opening and check-outs, housing sign-up day.

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's required
  • Basic computer skills; Skilled in general administrative tasks such as record keeping and analysis of information.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience required in area of expertise

* Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES). Required certification or license must be uploaded when submitting application for employment.
