Psychology Clinic Director

The Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology seeks a Director for its Psychology Clinic. The Psychology Clinic (called Community Psychological Services) offers psychological assessment, outpatient therapy and counseling services for individuals and families. Services are provided by clinical psychology doctoral students under the supervision of clinical psychology faculty members at Florida Institute of Technology. The Clinic Director will oversee all operational functions of psychology clinical services and doctoral psychology student practicum training within the clinic.

Specific job responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the academic program faculty and Director of Clinical Training (DCT) to offer exceptional practical training experience for students while providing effective clinical services to clients.
• Oversee daily operations of the clinic including client screening, intake and assessment, and QA.
• Provide clinical supervision and coaching to developing psychologists.
• Budget management.
• Oversee specialty clinics, develop additional clinical services and student training opportunities.
• Develop marketing materials and community relationships to recruit appropriate clients.
• With appropriate qualifications, the Clinic Director may hold a non-tenure track faculty appointment and teach occasional courses in clinical psychology.

This is a 12 month administrative position.

Community Psychological Services is housed within the Scott Center for Autism Treatment. The Scott Center specializes in providing comprehensive care to families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder that combines scientific, evidence-based methods in applied behavior analysis with an empathic, client-centered approach. Minimum Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or closely related field in APA accredited institution
• Licensed Psychologist, or license-eligible, in the state of Florida

• 2-5 years of experience in clinical supervision and case management
• Experience with program management and personnel supervision strongly preferred
• Interest and expertise in psychological assessment strongly preferred
• Teaching experience at the graduate level preferred
• Orientation toward clinical research or research facilitation a plus
