The Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at Florida Institute of Technology is looking for a unique academic scholar to join our team in changing the way business education is delivered.  We invite applications from enthusiastic, highly-engaged faculty for a full-time position in Economics.  The candidate must be academically qualified in foundational areas of economics at the undergraduate and master degree level.

 

 

 

 

Appointment for this position is for a tenure-track Assistant Professor.  The targeted start date is Fall Semester 2020.

Location:  In Melbourne, Florida, on 130 sub-tropical acres including a picturesque botanical garden.  The campus is five minutes from the Indian River, ten minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and fifty minutes from the Kennedy Space Center.
 

Minimum Requirements:  Candidates must have a Ph.D./DBA in Economics.  The position requires teaching skills in principles of economics, an associated subfield, business analytics, and an active stream of research.  The position also requires a commitment to providing service on behalf of the Bisk College of Business.  The Bisk College of Business is currently accredited through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) and is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).


Preferred Requirements:  We are in search of a pragmatic-minded scholar with teaching, research, and engagement experience in areas related to economic and business development, venture creation, entrepreneurship and innovation.
