Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Mailroom Clerk for the Mailroom Services department. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pick up and deliver US postal mail from Melbourne Postal Branch.
  • Sort and process all daily incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Provide customer service at the walk-up window.
  • Deliver mail to student at assigned residential mailboxes.
  • Scan, receive and track all packages received by US postal mail.
  • Perform retail transactions on MICROS register, Pitney Bowes postage meter machine and Pitney Bowes Suite Live.

Education/Skills required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must have a valid driver's license to operate automobile and golf cart.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of relevant work experience required.

* Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
