Behavior Technician

Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Behavior Technician for The Scott Center for Autism Treatment.  This is a part-time position. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with clients and trainees (graduate practicum students; undergraduate interns) as assigned for 15 hours per week and approximately 10 hours per week for indirect work related to client programming, including graphing, writing treatment notes and reports
  • Work across multiple settings (home, school, clinic) for parent training
  • Billing and Electronic Health Records (EHR) reconciliations
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures {e.g., VB-MAPP)
  • Assist with social skills groups or other program areas as assigned


Education/Skills required:

  • High school diploma
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Successfully complete a criminal background registry check at the time of application (within 45 days of submitting application)
  • Experience implementing behavioral intervention using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Experience with young children and children with developmental disabilities including ASD
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
