Manager of Online Undergraduate Admissions

Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Manager of Online Undergraduate Admissions for the Office of Online Learning. This is a full-time position.

Manages and supervises a team of admissions evaluators while overseeing the evaluating of all official documents and application data for all online undergraduate programs in order to determine admission decisions and the evaluation of transfer credits (TCE). Functions include, and are not limited to, meeting all deadlines while collaboratively working with various offices, adhering to policy/established processes, referencing professional resources, utilizing current technology and continually assessing work flow-to-work load adjusting priority processing.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Interviews, hires, trains, supervises and annually evaluates admissions evaluators within area.
  • Supervises process and workflow for areas. Monitors accuracy in admission decisions, data entry and transfer credit evaluations.
  • Establishes and balances team assignments. Coaches and assists with all Admissions Evaluator job responsibilities.
  • Monitors and participates in communication with academic departments and service providers. Troubleshoots, resolves and coordinates escalation of technical and student issues.
  • Reviews student records for discrepancies or exceptions to policy, making recommendations to and seeking guidance from management
  • Communicates directly with students regarding student admissions and TCE inquiries, as well as student appeals
  • Tests applicable current and new technologies. Creates, maintains and revises documents where online undergraduate student information is provided. Ensures documented processes are current and accurate.
  • Attends monthly administrative meetings. Attends professional development as available and appropriate. Maintains renewal of professional TCE and admission-related resources and membership with professional organizations.
  • Oversees campus-wide intake of Joint Service Transcripts (JST). Runs regularly scheduled reports using SIS and notifying designated departments. Monitor processes pertaining to financial aid notifications.

Education/Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of related experience

* Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES). *Required certification or license must be uploaded when submitting application for employment.
