Executive Director

Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for an Executive Director for the Scott Center.  This is a full-time position.

The Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology seeks a proven leader for the position of Executive Director. The Scott Center is a non-profit agency that provides a wide range of autism diagnostics and treatment services for children and their families. The Executive Director is responsible for formulating the strategy, developing the plans, and directing the activities to manage and grow the Scott Center, aligned with the three?fold mission of service provision, student and caregiver training, and research.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Team leadership. Provide leadership and direction to all staff members. Effectively communicate with staff.
• Fiscal management oversight. Budget development, spending decisions, promote fiscal transparency and integrity.
• Community relations, philanthropic support and public relations. Oversee fundraising and the development of other resources necessary to support the Scott Center’s mission. Develop partnerships and relationships in the local community and the broader autism treatment/research community. Oversee marketing and PR approaches to brand and position the Scott Center.
• Service provision. Oversee service provision activities in autism treatment and clinical service. Ensure integration and coordination among services. Envision and build telehealth initiatives.
• Training. Create infrastructure to position the Scott Center as the premier training site for students, professionals, and caregivers.
• Research. Create infrastructure for research on autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Support and build the research function to promote the Scott Center’s reputation; facilitate faculty, staff and student research. Translate research findings into evidence-based treatment programs.



• Commitment to the vision and mission of the Scott Center
• Management/leadership experience, ideally in a non-profit health or mental health treatment agency
• Advanced degree in business or behavioral/mental health field
• Energetic, proactive, proven leader
