Job Details

The Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Psychologist for the Scott Center.  This is a full-time position.

This is a professional position that is primarily responsible for psychological testing and diagnostics. The Psychologist may also assist in social skills groups, supervision of graduate students (ABA and Clinical Psychology Programs), and case management in the Early Intensive behavioral intervention program. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Primary Duties
• Psychological testing and diagnostics for childhood disorders, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning  Disabilities, and Achievement testing

Secondary Duties
• Case management of early intensive behavioral programs
• Management and service delivery of social skills groups for children and adolescents with autism spectrum and related disorders
• Supervision of graduate students across ABA and Clinical Psychology programs
• Evening supervision coverage for Community Psychological Services
• Additional duties as assigned

Education/Skills required:

Education Requirements
• Doctorate in clinical psychology or allied profession
• Specialization in child psychology, behavior analysis, and psychological testing
• Licensed eligible in the state of Florida and licensed within one year of hire as a psychologist

Education Preference
• Board Certified in Behavior Analysis at the Doctorate level (BCBA-D)

Experience and Skill Requirements
• 2 - 3 years of related experience as a behavior analyst
• 1 – 3 years of experience in diagnosing ASD and related disorders across the lifespan
• 2 – 3 years experience in psychological testing with preschoolers, children, adolescents, and adults
• 2 – 3 years experience supervising early intervention programs and case manager experience

Desired Experience
• Greater than three years of related clinical experience and experience with single-subject design research
