Post-Masters Intern

Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Post-Masters Intern for The Scott Center for Autism Treatment.  This is a full-time position. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide child/family assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention for children with autism and related disorders.  
  • Provide psycho-social assessment and consultation for families of children in The Scott Center’s early intervention and severe behavior disorders programs 
  • Facilitate support groups for caregivers of children with special needs
  • Provide behavioral parent training (e.g., Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) for caregivers of children with special needs
  • Coordinate group-based social skills intervention programs for children ages 5-14 years
  • Strong focus on behavioral and empirically supported approaches with numerous opportunities to assist with research projects

Education/Skills required:

  • Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, or related field
  • 1 - 3 years of related experience
  • More than 3 years of related experience is desirable
