Florida Institute of Technology is searching for an Assistant Professor for the department of Computer Engineering & Sciences.  This is a full-time position.

The School of Computing has ABET accredited programs in both Computer Science and Software Engineering, and significant active research funding from multiple government agencies and industry partners. Florida Tech is a NSA/DHS designated Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Research, and new faculty will have the opportunity to work with the Harris Institute for Assured Information.

The Department of Computer Engineering and Sciences at the Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for an open faculty position in Software Engineering at the assistant professor level, beginning as early as Fall 2018. Required qualifications for the position include an earned Ph.D. with a specialization in software engineering, evidence of the ability to develop and sustain an active research program, and a sincere interest in quality teaching, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants from all areas of software engineering are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants who have a background in secure software development.
